- Pay attention to where your children are and to what they are doing. If they used the toys, please return them to the corner for the next children.
- Chairs are for sitting. Counters are for folding clothes and machines are not meant to sit or stand on.
- If all machines are in use, please be patient and wait as no wash machine cycle is more than 28 minutes. If someone comes in close to the same time as you and they have one load and you have many, make sure you leave a machine available for them.
- Laundry carts are for clothes only. Any other use could be dangerous.
- If you make a mess, use the broom and dustpan left in the back corner to clean up after yourself.
- If you left mud or animal hair in a wash machine, use the rag and bucket supplied to wipe it out. This is located on the counter in a little yellow bucket.
- Remove lint from the dryer after each use.
- The restroom is meant for our patrons only.
- Please make use of the garbage cans provided. Also, note that the bin next to the soda machine is for cans only.
- Keep your entertainment at a reasonable volume when others are present.
- Anyone damaging or causing problems need to be reported. Use the phone number posted above the money machine.(503) 560-0191
- We do have surveillance .“Smile! You are being recorded.”
- Any comments or suggestions can be left in the suggestion box for our review. Together we can keep The Country Washboard clean and running smoothly.

A snack vending machine is kept loaded daily with chips and candy bars and a drink vending machine has a variety of sodas.
Our local Library has furnished a “Free Little Library” for your enjoyment. All kids books as well as adult level reading books are donated. You may take these home if you like, but please remember to bring some to fill in when the supply gets low.
While you wait for your laundry to finish, we have furnished some chairs and tables where you can use your laptop or eat your snacks. Please use these tables for folding clothes if there is more space needed.
Free WIFI, with the password displayed inside the building, is available while you are visiting our facility.
Any lost items are placed into a basket awaiting your return for them. We will donate anything left in the basket to our local second hand store at the end of every month. If you left something of greater value, (rings, drivers license, quilts, etc), we try to keep it safe until we get a call from you. ( 503-560-0191). We will check for your missing item as soon as we can.
